WHOLESALE VENDOR TERMS

Retailers who wish to sell Tidewater products must have a valid business/resale license and adhere to our Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) Policy. Approved retailers are allowed to use online channels such as Etsy, Facebook, or Instagram for sales; however, resellers may not utilize buying groups or wholesaling methods and must only be selling at full retail price. Violation of these policies will result in revocation of the retailer's purchasing privileges with us.

Definition of Retail Space

Active Tidewater wholesale retailers must sell the majority of their merchandise through a physical retail space and gain approval from a Tidewater representative. Tidewater reserves the right not sell to any of the following outlets in order to protect our reputation of brand:

• Retailers who sell only through Amazon, eBay Etsy or social media outlets
• Discount or consignment stores
• Wholesalers who act as third-party retailers to online marketplaces
• Temporary or permanent kiosks/booth at local fairs, flea markets, trunk shows or home parties
• Online-only retailers

 

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

As a Tidewater approved retailer, you are expected to abide by the strict pricing guidelines of our Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) Policy. This policy applies across all forms of advertising media including traditional formats such as flyers, radio and television ads. It also extends to digital avenues like internet sites, apps and social media platforms used for price offering or order placement. We take this policy seriously so that competitive prices remain fair between resellers in compliance with MAP restrictions - non-negotiable no matter what medium is chosen for advertisement purposes! Wholesale retailers may advertise Tidewater above the published minimum advertised price (MAP) with no restrictions. In-season products may not be discounted for longer than one week; past-season products may be sold at a discount no greater than 60%.

 

Policy Violations

Tidewater will take appropriate action to ensure compliance with its MAP policy. If a reseller is found in violation of this policy, they may be subject to suspension and/or termination from their business relationship based on the severity of the infraction - determined by Tidewater exclusively at their discretion.

Cancellation Policy

There will be a 10% restocking fee on all orders. Custom and FOB orders cannot be canceled.

 

Backorder Policy

Backorders less than $50 will automatically be canceled.
